The herbal blend No. 6 has a long-standing history. Homoeopathic practitioner Felix Mayer from Munich, who was a mentor to Dr. Weyrauch, shared the herbal mixture of his great-grandfather, a veterinarian in Vienna. Alpine Fresh provides a taste of very fine food and spice herbs, enriching the horse’s nutrition with precisely the nutrients that are less abundant in nature during the cold season than in summer. This includes terpenes from specific herbs.
Terpenes are part of secondary plant compounds. They are fat-soluble and are broadly classified as lipids. Terpenes are well-known for their antimicrobial properties and are often appreciated for their pleasant aroma, making them common in essential oils.
Composition:
Dried herbs (thyme, ribwort, sage, borage), dried fruits and flowers (fennel, aniseed, fenugreek, primula), dried roots (licorice, cowslip, pimpernel), Icelandic moss
Analytical components:
Crude protein 9%, Crude fat 2%, Crude fiber 28%, Crude ash 7%, Sodium 0%
Feeding recommendation:
Daily 10 to 20g (1 to 2 measuring spoons), with ponies and small horses accordingly less.
Please note that pure herbal preparations, especially this valuable formulation, complement the diet in a special way but do not replace a balanced mineralization. Combine this product sensibly with one of our mineral supplements such as No. 1 Alles fließt, No. 4 Goldwert, No. 19 Mordskerl, No. 21 Beinhart, or No. 28 Sandmann.
