With its golden straw fibers, No. 20 Sonnenberg is an absolute rarity among fiber-rich mueslis. No. 20 Sonnenberg is suitable for horses that require an additional, particularly high-quality fiber supply in their crib feed. This is the case, for example, when there is no straw available due to pure shavings bedding or when poor hay quality has to be accepted.

The gentle supply of straw chaffs is reminiscent of feeding horses around the turn of the last century. Straw is an interesting mineral supplier and promotes a healthy intestinal flora through lignocellulose. The horse is encouraged to chew better.

No. 20 Sonnenberg is free from any flavorings, preservatives, or additives, as well as free from binders or synthetic additions. This benefits highly sensitive horses prone to liver problems, mud fever, EMS, Cushing’s, or laminitis. The cereal content is moderate, standing at 20%. The proportion of corn is higher than that of barley. The proportion of sunflower seeds as a supplier of oils and high-quality amino acids is 5%. The composition is very low in protein, which is beneficial for horses with kidney sensitivities.
